Why study a PhD in Law?

The UDC PhD in Law has been responsible for raising the standard of legal knowledge, expertise and practice across the different legal professions (judges, lawyers, procurators, business consultants, civil servants, etc.), and for providing academic and research training to many members of the current faculty. Since the PhD programme was first introduced (in accordance with RD 1393/2007), UDC now offers Master’s courses in European Union Studies (MUE) and Legal Business Consulting (MAXE) as a way for students to develop and deepen their research skills in preparation for the PhD.
