Most of Galician legal institutions are based in A Coruña. Here we can find the Galician High Court of Justice, the Galician High Prosecutor Office, the Royal Galician Legal Academy, or the Galician Bar Council, among others. The University of A Coruña School of Law takes part of this legal environment since 1987. We have been educating lawyers for decades. Now our graduates practice all kinds of legal professions all over the world, both on the public and the private fields.

Since 1996 the School has its facilities in the Campus of Elviña. Our building offers to students a great place to study. Our class-rooms are adapted to interactive and personalized teaching; our students have access to ICTs; our library holds tens of thousands of volumes as well as access to the main legal databases. There are also places devoted to personal study, group work or student’s social life and leisure.

We have also a great academic offer that is suitable for every kind of student. Undergraduate students have an opportunity to follow the courses in English – besides Galician and Spanish -, to opt to a double degree with South Wales University, or to study simultaneously Law and Business Administration. Post-graduate students can choose the Legal Practice Master (organized jointly with the A Coruña Bar Association), the Master on Digital Law and Artificial intelligence, and two different JD programs. We also offer a number of long-life learning programs. Besides, our students have many opportunities of academic mobility with universities all around Europe, America and even Asia. This way, our students can adapt their curricula to their interests and preferences.

But, for sure, the best that our School can offer is its excellent team. We enjoy a teaching body that combines renowned and expert scholars with young generations that have a great background and innovation spirit; an administrative staff always willing to help students and strongly committed with the school. In addition, we receive students from many different origins, which creates a multicultural and diverse environment that makes easy to feel yourself comfortable.

And everything located in a great city. A Coruña is an amazing place to stay; by the sea, with many cultural and leisure opportunities, cosmopolitan, but with a strong character. In short, if you are thinking on studying Law, don’t hesitate: this is your place. If you are already part of our community, welcome, we are here for you.
